See the swing behind theshot.

SmartBay helps golfers understand what happens between taking a swing and seeing where the ball lands. Cameras capture the movement, sensors collect shot data, and a touchscreen brings both into view.

We designed and developed the software experience connecting those parts. From capture and playback to shot visualization and saved sessions, our focus was on making detailed performance information useful in the short pause before the next swing.

SmartBay records each swing automatically from two camera angles. Players can review the movement on the bay’s touchscreen alongside the shot results, without setting up a separate recording. The interface keeps the video large and the key numbers close to the action.

Give every number a picture

Ball speed, club speed, spin, launch angle and distance describe different parts of a shot. We brought those measurements into one interface, with trajectory visualizations that help players connect the numbers to the ball’s flight. Comparing shots becomes part of the practice session.

Make the lesson visible

A coach can pause the footage and draw directly over the swing, marking an angle or a position to discuss with the player. Video and data give both people a shared reference. Club comparisons and session reports extend that conversation into fitting and training decisions.

Keep the session with you

Practice leaves a record. Saved videos and statistics let players return to a session after leaving the range and compare it with later attempts. We connected the bay interface with player profiles and cloud storage so the information remained useful beyond the lesson itself.
