AcelerIA

A learning platform that helps people put AI into practice. We developed the backend and AI integration for UTEC and BID Lab, connecting guided lessons, personalized learning paths and an AI tutor called Eria.

AcelerIA project

Learning something new is easier with someone to ask.

For someone who has never used AI, knowing where to start can be the hardest part. acelerIA introduces it through short lessons and practical missions, with an educational assistant available when a learner needs help.

We built the backend and AI integration behind that experience. Our work connects conversations with Eria, learner progress, adaptive paths and mentor tools. Estudio Nómade developed the design and frontend.

Meet Eria

Eria is the platform’s AI educational assistant. It guides learners through the material with prompts, hints and explanations that respond to their questions and progress. We developed the conversational layer and the backend context that help Eria keep track of where each learner is in their journey.

Give each learner a way forward

People arrive with different experience, confidence and time. The learning system uses progress, completed activities and areas still to work on to inform what comes next. Short modules and missions give learners manageable steps, while the backend maintains a record of their journey

Keep mentors in the picture

Mentors need to know who is progressing and who might need a hand. We built the backend services that supply cohort views, learner histories and progress indicators. These tools give mentors a starting point for following up and supporting people through the course.

Build for the next chapter

As the project grew, its scope expanded to include additional user roles, gamification, certifications and adaptive paths. We extended the backend and APIs to support those additions, keeping learning records, permissions and progression connected as the platform evolved.
